Had a good sleep in spite of everything being wet and the smell of me and everything else in the tent. Cloudy but warm start to the day with rain on and off during the morning and then partly sunny towards the afternoon. Lots of little hills and a few bigger ones later in the day but I pushed on and made it to Fredericton. At the Fredericton city limits there was a cute young girl on the side of the road taking a picture in my direction so I put on a smile and when I got closer, I realized it was Melodie, Roland and Suzanne's daughter there to greet me.

Hyw 105 brought me by the longest covered bridge in the world in Hartland

The Saint John river

Looking across the river to Woodstock

Nackawic is famous for the big axe and the singer on Canadian Idol

Just had to get a photo with the bike and the axe.

Most of the community of Bear Island is now under water as part of the headwaters of the Mactaquac power dam. It was the hometown of one of our friends, Ron Brown.

Lots of campgrounds in this area.

One of Melodies pictures when she met me on the highway

Another one with the Fredericton sign

Arriving at the Cormiers - Melodie had taken my bags in the car

After a shower - a nice glass of wine
